主要研究方向:
从事环境污染物的早期健康效应研究,研究环境中的重金属、大气细颗粒物(包括PM2.5和PM0.1)等对人体健康的影响,构建新一代健康风险评估模型。利用环境有机地球化学、流行病学、和毒理学等方法,筛选重金属暴露对儿童智力发育的影响及其特异性定量生物标志物,构建精准风险评估模型;筛选和鉴定大气颗粒物中的有效毒性种类,鉴定特异性生物标志物,并结合同位素技术进行源解析,构建“毒物筛查-毒物机制-风险评估”链条。
针对环境中重金属的污染问题,结合流行病学数据和体外验证结果,提在多种重金属联合暴露的情况下,高和低浓度血铅暴露的人群中血铅依然是诱导儿童神经智力发育的主要因子,并筛选出13个定量生物标志物,用于儿童血铅的新一代健康风险评估中。研究发表在环境领域顶级期刊ES&T等杂志上,获得了国家专利许可。铅神经毒性相关生物标志物及通路被国际权威平台AOP-Wiki和US EPA IRIS收录,相关定量数据被世界银行、全球发展中心等机构直接采用,用于全球铅污染治理政策的成本效益分析,产生了实质性的国际政策影响。
筛选鉴定PM2.5/PM0.1样品各组分中的有效毒性物质,依据流行病学和人体细胞实验结果,利用傅里叶变换离子回旋共振质谱仪(FT-ICR MS)、加速器质谱(AMS)、核磁共振(NMR)、制备性液相色谱分离技术、气相液相质谱技术等地球化学方法分析新污染物的组成、结构、来源等信息。筛选出PM2.5中水溶性组分中的类腐殖酸类化合物(Huminc-like Substances, HULIS)和非极性有机组分中的“去甲哈尔满”诱导了炎症、凋亡和遗传损伤等的重要活性组分/化合物,并精确解析了其主要来源。研究结果发表在环境领域顶级期刊ES&T和EP等杂志上,并三次被选为ES&T(IP=11.4, 中科院一区)的内封面文章。
在国内首次建立HPLC-MS/MS全基因组DNA甲基化和MALDI-TOF-MS/MS分析组蛋白修饰的检测方法,分析了环境中普遍存在的三氯生和苯及其代谢物低浓度暴露诱导的毒性效应,并筛选出了潜在的分子标志物。关于三氯生的文章,被英国知名的文献推荐平台F1000prime推荐为“非常好”的论文,并评价了论文结果对三氯生肝毒性的贡献。
